Meet the Engineers!
Meet the Engineers Behind the Catapult
Hi! My name is Kendell Lewis and I'm a first-year undergraduate student at Drexel University. I'm a Materials and Science Engineering major and would like to work with metals in the future -- maybe even become a metallurgist. I'm an only child and I'm from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. My love for metals was born during my freshman year of high school: welding. I went to a technical school, so I was fortunate enough to solidify my trade. My hobbies include drawing softball, and basketball among other things. I decided to continue my secondary education at Drexel because of the Co-Op and the academic challenges!
Hola! My name is Shanewaz Chowdhury and I am a first-year undergraduate student at Drexel University. I graduated from Masterman High School, here in the heart of Philadelphia. I've lived in Philly almost all of my life and there is no shortage of love for the city. I have decided to become an Electrical Engineering major in hopes to get hands-on experiences and work to build different machines and materials to satisfy my innovative thirst through the ECE department here at Drexel, which is known to have quite the engineering program. I am quite an athlete and my main hobbies include shooting hoops, playing futball, or watching Youtube if I'm too lazy to do anything else.
Hi! My name is Kenneth Pham and I'm a first-year undergraduate student at Drexel University. I came to Drexel from Long Island, New York to major in Electrical Engineering. I decided to attend Drexel because of the Co-op program and because its in the city. I decided to major in Electrical Engineering because of my experience in Science Olympiad, and how most projects I did required some knowledge of circuits. My hobbies include programming, working on personal projects, and I'm also a car enthusiast!
Hello! My name is Brandon Melendez and I am a first-year Chemical Engineering student at Drexel University. I came to Drexel from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The main reason I decided to go to Drexel was for the co-op program. My high school Engineering teacher recommended Drexel and when I saw the co-op program I knew I was going to go to Drexel. I decided to major in Chemical Engineering because I find chemistry fascinating, and I like problem-solving. My main hobby is playing soccer and hanging out with friends in my dorm lounge.
